Hello!

I’m Sinéad Cusack, founder of The Core Care. I’m a fitness professional, specialising in pelvic health and core fitness. I’m a qualified trainer of Hypopressives. Hypopressives is the only thing that helped me after suffering years of prolapse symptoms. It changed my life and now I’m delighted to help people like you. I teach in person in Glasgow (Newton Mearns) and Dublin (Skerries), and anywhere else via Zoom.

I struggled with prolapse symptoms after the birth of my children, and kegels (pelvic floor exercises) helped for a while. But when they stopped working, I was left with a choice between suffering debilitating symptoms or surgery. The latter was something I hoped to avoid until I was much older, and I searched desperately for a third option. A lovely pelvic floor physiotherapist told me about this “new” programme called Hypopressives.

My background is in financial services, and I used to manage treasury functions and funds, before moving into financial regulation. I have always looked for evidence of results, facts and figures. I couldn’t understand how breathing and poses would help me, but I felt desperate to avoid surgery. After a lot of dithering, due to my scepticism, I eventually started practicing and I’ve never looked back! Sometimes you need to hit a low to find exactly what you need, I suppose.

I now teach Hypopressives in person and online, and I closely monitor my clients’ progress through detailed analysis of symptom data. I’m currently finishing Level 3 of Hypopressives training via IHC.

You might have given up hope, especially if kegels haven’t worked. Anyone can practice Hypopressives - get in touch if you’re interested in finding out more!
